Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
Orders that are drop-shipped from a supplier are normally processed within 2 to 7 business days. This does depend on stock availability and the courier company. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays (this can depend on busy periods and if Auspost is used). We will notify of any delayed orders.
Orders that are not drop-shipped from a supplier will take longer to be processed, this does depend on the product and the supplier. (Some suppliers will send to Fantastic Hobbies first then we dispatch it off.
These are only an estimated time frame and other factors may be unforeseen.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or if stock has to be sent from another warehouse shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
For some products the processing times could be longer as they may need to be delivered to Fantastic Hobbies first then they will be checked and dispatched, this process can take up to 10 business days.
During some holiday periods orders may get delayed we will put a notice up on the website of any delays to orders.
Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout, this is only valid for heavy/bulky orders.
All orders over $50 is free shipping.
Express Post maybe available on some products (computer products are excluded from Express Post).
How orders are shipped
Fantastic Hobbies has different options of shipping depending on the products that’s purchased and where Fantastic Hobbies purchases the products from:
- Computer/Electronic products are purchased from suppliers that use drop shipping directly to the customer
- Some suppliers do not supply drop shipping hence then Fantastic Hobbies will ship the products
- The suppliers that provide drop shipping use a variety of different couriers
- Other products that Fantastic Hobbies sells are not drop shipped hence Fantastic Hobbies will ship the product using their own courier or Auspost.
- We do not use Express Post, if you want your product shipped via Express Post you will need to contact us first before making the purchase as this option will have a shipping charge (Please read Shipping Rates & delivery estimates). we will inform you if this option is available it does depend on what is ordered.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or Parcel Lockers
Fantastic Hobbies can ship to a P.O. box or Parcel Locker if it has to come directly from Fantastic Hobbies, this is only available if Fantastic Hobbies uses Auspost.
If the product/s is drop shipped from a supplier a P.O. Box or Parcel Locker cannot be used there for a physical address must be provided.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has been shipped containing your tracking number/s.
If the tracking number shows an error please check after 5pm AEST for the package to be scanned into the courier’s system.
(Sometimes Fantastic Hobbies doesn’t receive any tracking information from the suppliers)
All deliveries will need to be signed for, please make sure someone can receive the package or have it shipped to a location you will be at.
If you receive an attempted delivery card and you Authorize the courier to leave at the door (ATL) then you become responsible for the package, the supplier and or Fantastic Hobbies will not be responsible for any items missing and or damaged. If you choose to use an ATL option with the courier please have time stamp photos before opening the package for any proof of damaged items.
If the item goes missing this was your responsibility to make sure the package was secured or left in a safe place.
Fantastic Hobbies is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged please contact us so we can contact the courier company to file a claim.
Due to the limited access of our carriers, there are certain postcodes that we are unable to deliver to. Please refer to the list below for more details.
We try our best to include all the undeliverable postcodes on the list, however, there are still a few postcodes that are undeliverable for some SKUs. Orders with no shipment service will be cancelled and refunded automatically.
Please kindly contact our customer service for more information if you need the item to be delivered to the remote areas to ensure your order could be processed successfully.

Nature is out of anyone’s control and sometimes there is a national disaster like fires or floods, if anything happens we will put a notice up and orders may get delayed with deliveries or suppliers having to shut down due to these issues. If unexpected situations happen like this and you have an order please contact us if it affects you.
